Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

The removal of excess skin and fat from the abdomen to improve contours and tighten the muscles.

Breast Augmentation (Breast Enlargement)

The surgical term for enlarging or reshaping the female breasts by insertion of implants.

Breast Reduction (Mammoplasty)

Reduces the overall size of the breasts and can correct asymmetry.

Breast Uplift (Mastopexy)

Procedure to tighten loose skin on the breasts and reshapes and repositions the nipples if mis-aligned.

Brow Lift

Lifts low positioned brow by tightening the skin on the forehead. Also smoothes furrows and between the brows.

Crows Feet

Fine lines that appear around the eyes with ageing.


Surgery that rejuvenates and enhances the face and neck by reversing the changes that have occurred with ageing.

Term used for administering a drug or a gas to alter a state of consciousness, ie putting to sleep for an operation.

Surgical procedure to reduce and reshape the inner lips of the vagina.

Lip Enhancement

Liposculpture (Soft Liposculpture)

The removal of unwanted deposits of fat from specific areas of the body. Soft Liposculpture is for profile enhancement where multi-layered fat removal is achieved using fat loosening solutions, followed by deep massage and ‘Liporedistribution’. Superficial liposuction is performed using special thin cannulas.


Similar to Liposculpture, Liposuction is also performed to remove unwanted deposits of fat from specific areas of the body, but this is mainly for bulk reduction rather than profile enhancement.

A drug administered directly into an area of the body to alleviate pain for surgery.

Minimal access facelift where tissues/muscles are lifted through very small incisions hidden in the temple.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Reshaping)

Procedure to re-shape the nose by reducing or increasing it’s size, removing a hump, changing the shape of the top or bridge, narrowing the span of the nostrils or changing the angle between the nose and lip.

Semi-Permanent Make-Up

Used to enhance natural beauty and give features more shape and definition without the need to wear make-up. Also known as Micro-pigmentation.

An implant filled with a silicone gel solution.

Skin Resurfacing

Treatment to rejuvenate and refresh the texture and appearance of the skin.

S-Lift Facelift

Technique of facelift surgery which rejuvenates and enhances the face and neck using an ‘S’ shape incision. Also known as a ‘minimal access technique’.


Medical term for ‘below the skin’.

Sweat Reduction

(Hyperhidrosis) Excessive sweating can be treated by injecting Botox directly into the affected areas to prevent the sweat glands from overproducing.

TCA Easy Peel

An effective facial peel that works by causing sloughing or removal of the upper layers of skin. Overall skin texture can be dramatically smoothed and superficial wrinkles eliminated.

Teeth Whitening

A process of lifting the stains and discolouration out of porous tooth enamel to achieve a whiter, brighter smile.

Thigh Lift

Surgical procedure to tighten and restore the thigh area

Thread Lift

Minimal access facelift, suitable for younger patients. Threads are used to create a lifting effect through very small incisions normally hidden in the hairline.

Twilight Sedation

A sedative drug administered via injection to relax a patient during surgery.

Wrinkle Reduction

Non-Surgical wrinkle reduction injections (commonly known as Botox) can be used to treat moderate to severe frown lines. They can treat persistent lines that have developed over time by reducing the contractions of the muscles.
